DALLAS Semiconductor is based in Texas. The company is founded in 1984 and acquired by Maxim integrated products in 2001. Both brands are used concurrently until 2007. Since then the name Maxim is used for new products and DALLAS Semiconductor is reserved for some of the older products.
The company produces semiconductors with analog, digital and mixed signal ICs, communication devices, microcontrollers, thermostats, volatile RAM, microprocessor controls, digital potentiometers, temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO) and others.
