When selectingan inverter it is very important to choose the right power, depending on the connected consumers. Each consumer has a different type of power. Some consumers have entirely active power, so in this case the power stock of the inverter can be in the range of 20-30%, while others have a predominantly reactive component and then the inverter must have a substantial power supply – from 3 to 5 times the power of the sum of the consumers which it supplies. The problem is that sometimes the user of the inverter cannot properly assess the nature of the load and despite the instructions and the detailed explanation of the sales consultant, he/she exceeds the power that the inverter can provide and in spite of the built-in protections, the inverter burns out.
In order to facilitate our customers we have provided a "calculator" to automatically calculate the power of the inverter, depending on the most common consumers. The calculation ends with a handy link to the selected inverter, so after determining the capacity and the type of the inverter, the customer can directly proceed with ordering from the site. In conclusion we would add that real sine-wave inverters are used in more sensitive and responsible consumers and are many times more expensive. In general, the voltage inverter with modified (trapezoidal shape) sine-wave is completely sufficient.
