History
Cherry was founded in 1953 by Walter Cherry. The factory was originally designed in the USA, but the main management was later built in Germany.
Product range
Cherry Corporation entered the market as a manufacturer of microswitches. By 1967 it had become a leader in this field throughout Europe. The production expanded and the first keyboard, a control device with buttons for industrial and industrial machines, was designed.
In 1973, as a pioneer in electronics, Cherry Corporation began manufacturing computer keyboards and later other computer peripheral devices.
After over 70 years of experience in research and development, Cherry is the oldest company for computer peripherals, microswitches and various automation systems. Since 2008, the company has been managed by Walter Cherry's son.
