D-Link or Datex Systems, Inc. is a multinational company in Taiwan, specializing in the production and distribution of network devices and components.
History
D-Link, Inc. was founded in 1986 in Taiwan, and in 1992 changed its name to D-Link. In 1988, the company created the first Peer-to-Peer network system and implemented TCP/IP network communication. At that time, it was the first network system with which the entire Internet is now built.
In 2007, it was the leader in small and medium-sized businesses in the global market for devices and components in network environments. After March 2008, it became the market leader in Wi-Fi technologies and devices. And in 2013, it launched the world's first dual-band Wi-Fi router, offering the fastest wireless speed at the time.
To this day, the D-Link brand is a symbol of quality, speed, and reliability in network services through routers, switches, or smart home devices.
