Energizer® is an American company founded in 1896 by W.H. LawrenceConrad and HubertDavid under the name Eveready Battery Company, Inc. in Missouri, USA, and in 2000 changed its name to Energizer Holdings, Inc. At first the company focused on the design and manufacture of type D batteries, 1905 their batteries became the basis of the first pocket flashlight under David Misell's patent. Creators are the first home telephone.

Energizer® started with the production of batteries, but today, in addition to this sector, the company has developed and owns a number of trademarks and produces a wide variety of products such as headlamps, flashlights, as well as inductive battery chargers. The company continues to evolve and innovate today, but Energizer Holdings, Inc is still best known for quality batteries.
