On September 1, 1945, Wilhelm and Marie Harting founded a company called Wilhelm Harting's Mechanical Workshops. In a small service room of about 100 m2, they began to produce devices for everyday use. Initially, these were energy-saving light bulbs, hobs, home electrical equipment, irons, etc ..
