Kopos kolin

KOPOS Kolin belongs to traditional Czech companies involved in the production of electrical installation materials and their history could be dated back from 1926, when the factory began producing a variety of electrical installation materials, including boxes and other accessories. The company achieved excellent results till WWII and almost had a monopoly position in this product range. After nationalization in 1946. the company was included to KABLO Bratislava and became a state enterprise.

 

In 1994, when the company was privatized, it turned into a family owned company and it was officially registered in 1996 adopting the name KOPOS KOLIN. Now, KOPOS is again one of the largest European manufacturers of electrical and cable supporting systems with subsidiaries in Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Croatia, Ethiopia, Slovakia and the UAE.

 

The wide range of products is divided into five integrated systems according to the purpose of use, environment and mechanical stress: cable boxes and accessories; cable trays and accessories; cable pipes and accessories; fastening materials and systems for cable support. Besides these classical sets, which are used mostly in the field of electrical installations. Currently KOPOS KOLIN manufactures various cables and cable systems for installation and materials. Their product catalog is ranging from wiring boxes, PVC ducts and electrical pipes fasteners to all kinds of cable support systems.

 

KOPOS Kolín has production facilities and technical equipment enabling them to have a fast response to market requirements and to continue a development of new products. The company is certified according to ISO-9001: 2000 and has its own R&D base, its own tool shop and prototype center designed especially for development, preparation and testing of new products.
