After completing the water circuit, the last step is usually to fill the system. It sometimes happens that there is a leakage of liquid. Often this is because the rigid pipes or hose are not properly positioned, or the connection is not tightened properly. With the leak tester, you can make sure that the system is sealed before you even fill it.

 

How to work with the tool

 

Connect the Alphacool Leak Tester to a loose connection G1/4" in the system and reach the desired pressure using the hand pump. Please note that there are different maximum values for each manufacturer. Wait between 15 and 20 minutes, if the pressure has not dropped during this time, the water circuit is tight.

 

Kit Contents

 

The leak tester is composed of a hand pump, a pressure gauge and a 11/8 mm hose with a G1/4" threaded connection. in the end. Everything is connected through a TEE part. The hose is 40 cm long and has a spring to prevent kinking.
