NIDEC COPAL ELECTRONICS was established in Japan in April, 1967 as a specialty manufacturer of electronic components. The company's corporate policy is to supply high-quality products at suitable prices. NIDEC COPAL ELECTRONICS began by developing a wirewound trimmer, those products where enthusiastically received in many industry sectors. This initial success laid the groundwork for future development at the start of the electronic revolution.

Later, robust sales of cermet trimmers leads to the Company's remarkable expansion. Further development efforts led to the release of a succession of new product lines. These included ranges of mainly wide range of switches and further of encoders, pressure sensors or motors.

NIDEC COPAL ELECTRONICS has also pursued an aggressive course of business globalization. In 1986, the Company established a marketing subsidiaries in the United States (California) and Europe (Germany), also branch offices in Singapore and Korea where founded at the same time. Through the company's strategic operating centers in Asia, North America and Europe, NIDEC COPAL ELECTRONICS intends to further enhance its service.
