Optic Patchcords

The fiber optic cables with connectors on both ends are called patch cables or patch cords. They are very easy to use as they are ready to be connected to different devices using optical signal. What differentiate between the optical connectors of the patch cords are their shape and type. In shape they are Ultra Physical Contact (UPC) and Angled Physical Contact (APC). In type they are Standard connector (SC), Straight Tip (ST), Ferrule connector (FC) and Little connector (LC). The patch cables are a high tech solution for long distance data transfer with minimum losses and signal distortion.
