How is it calculated?
Choose from the drop-down menu at the top one of 4 different versions of the solar system, namely:
Option 1: 12Vdc- this is a system of 12 volt solar panels: 12 volt solar controller, 12 volt battery and 12 volt consumer.
Option 2: 24Vdc - this is a system of 24 volt solar panels: 24 volt solar controller, 24 volt battery and 24 volt consumer.
Option 3: 220Vac with 12 volt panel - this is a system of 12 volt solar panels: 12 volt solar controller, 12 volt battery and inverter from 12 to 220 volts for consumers operating at 220 volts.
Option 4: 220Vac with 24 volt panel - this is a system of 24 volt solar panels: 24 volt solar controller, 24 volt battery and inverter from 24 to 220 volts for consumers operating at 220 volts.
Enter the power of your consumer in the first "box" at the right for „Р“. If there is more than one consumer, sum the total power (e.g.: 100W lighting + 120W LCD TV + 180W refrigerator = 400W total consumed power). THE NUMERIC VALUE FOR "P" MUST BE ENTERED IN WATTS, 1KW = 1000W
Set the time in which the consumer works for 24h in the second "box" at the right for "t". THE NUMERIC VALUE FOR "t" MUST BE ENTERED IN HOURS; 15min = 0.25 h; 30min = 0.5 h; 45 min = 0.75 h;
The formula by which the overall autonomous system is calculated is relative Please bear in mind that the formula is valid under certain conditions, and there is set battery discharge up to 70% in the calculations.
In case of systems which require inverters, there ispower supply of 30% which is set in the formula, and it holds in cases of real load. PLEASE NOTE THAT IN CASE OF INDUCTIVE LOADS, THE INVERTER MUST BE 3 TO 5 TIMES MORE POWERFUL!
