Glass fuses are protective fuses in a cylindrical shape and a glass coating.
Disposable, fusible fuses
Fusible fuses are designed to protect against damage and accidents by interrupting electrical systems in the event of a short circuit. They are a glass cylinder that melts when a problem occurs in the electrical system, hence their name.
Unlike other protective fuses, they are disposable and can be replaced if a problem occurs and cannot be reused.
Characteristics of glass fuses
Fuses are mainly designed for high-voltage electrical systems (250 ~ 350 VAC), with their main characteristic being the size and the current they can withstand in the range of 0.1 ~ 30 A.
In terms of size, they are mainly divided into:
ф5x15 mm
ф5x20 mm
ф6x30 mm
ф6x45 mm
ф5x15 mm
