LED moons are two-pin small lighting fixtures that replace standard halogen bulbs designed for suspended ceilings, kitchens and bathrooms. They can have a GU5.3 or GU10 socket. GU5.3 are pin type and are adapted for weaker lamps, and GU10 have feet for more powerful lamps of 50 W for example. LED moons are mainly used as additional lighting above kitchen counters, bathrooms, wet rooms as a reliable source of light without taking up space and at the same time providing the required amount of illumination. Unlike halogen, these LED moons have a much longer life and do not emit heat.

Where are LED moon lamps used?
