What is the LPV-100 series?

The LPV-100 is an AC-DC power supply designed for LED lighting.
It operates across a wide input voltage range—from 90 to 264 VAC—making it suitable for various power grids.

Applications

Switching power supplies are widely used as power sources—primarily for LED lighting, but also in radio electronics, communications and computing equipment, medical devices, industrial process automation, and other electronic fields. They rectify and stabilize the voltage supplied to an electrical device; in most cases, they are used to power LED lighting, which is why they are colloquially known as LED drivers.

It is recommended to consult a specialist to correctly select the device's power rating. The power rating must be matched to the power requirements of the connected devices and the type of load:

The device's rated power should be 20–30% higher than the load's power consumption for resistive loads (heaters, electric ovens, furnaces, stoves, incandescent bulbs, etc.). This is necessary due to the high inrush current of such loads. Upon switching on the load and during repeated short-term operating cycles, the load significantly exceeds the nominal parameters specified in the technical data for a brief period;

when the device is used with inductive loads, its power rating must be 3 to 5 times higher than the load's power consumption (e.g., fluorescent lighting, electric motors, pumps, air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, etc.);

when the device is used with capacitive loads, its power rating must be 5 to 10 times higher than the load's power consumption (e.g., switching chargers, LED drivers, switching power supplies, etc.).

Failure to observe these guidelines may result in the device becoming overloaded and ceasing to function; consequently, the warranty will not cover the damage.
