Smart LED lamps / Smart Wi-fi bulbs

Smart LED bulbs are the next stage in the technological development of lighting. This type of lamps offer a large choice of lighting options such as color temperature: warm, neutral and cool white light in the range of 2000 ~ 6500 K. This type of bulbs also work with color RGB technology, which can satisfy every taste of users, both for basic lighting and for decoration.

The Wi-fi smart LED bulbs, in addition to economy, also offer the possibility of dimming control both remotely and from a distance via a Wi-Fi connection via the Internet via a mobile application from your phone or tablet. They can be combined with any smart product such as sockets, light switches and thus create the dream "smart" home controlled with one movement of the phone.

When it comes to choosing a lamp, in addition to the application and the room, there are several things to keep in mind:

 

• Power - here it is necessary to take into account the power of the selected LED lamp, as well as the equivalent power for other types of lighting. For example, if the light bulb has a power of certain watts, this is only the amount of electricity it will use. The power of the light depends on the type of LED and the light flux it emits. For example, an LED bulb that is only 8W, in addition to being economical, has a luminous flux of over 800 lumens, which is equivalent to a 70W ordinary incandescent bulb.
• Plinth - another important factor when choosing LED lighting is the plinth. It can be of the most common Edison type (denoted by the Latin letter E - E27, E14) or two-pin (denoted by the Latin letter G - G9, G4). In addition to the type of socket, it is indicated by either the diameter or the distance between the pins, depending on the specific type.
• Color temperature - color temperature is measured with the Kelvin scale, which is divided into three main color zones: warm (from 1000K to 3000K), which are more yellow, neutral (from 3000K to 4000K), slightly white, and cold (over 4000K), which are white with a blue tint. To get an idea of the appropriate color temperature, it's good to keep in mind that daylight is over 6000K on this scale. Warm lights are usually used for restaurants or places of rest, so as not to irritate the eyes, and cold lights in a work environment, when light is of great importance.
• Illumination - illuminance represents the total amount of light that the lamp will emit, and the smaller the value, the less the amount of light emitted. For example, with the most popular LED lamp of 8W, there is an illumination of 820 lm.
• Durability - With LED lighting and in particular light bulbs, the duration is measured in working hours. Modern LED lamps average about 20,000 to 30,000 h.
• Dimmability - if you want to be able to dim the lighting of the LED lamp you buy, you should check if the model you choose supports this possibility. If you use an LED lamp that does not support this function, you risk damaging it.
