Voltage stabilizers are used to ensure normal power supply and operation of household appliances, refrigerator, air conditioner, etc. The voltage stabilizer is built by toroidal autotransformer, contact regulator - servo motor, actuator, control and protection board. When the input voltage is not accurate, the motor of the electrical stabilizer drives the arm of the contact regulator and provides a stabilized output voltage. It is good when buying a voltage stabilizer, it should have high accuracy, short correction time, small self-consumption, long-term reliable operation. The electrical stabilizer can be equipped with various protections - delayed start after voltage drop, protection from increased or decreased input voltage, overload protection with automatic fuses with "C" curve, etc.

When choosing a stabilizer, please note the following recommendations

the nominal power of the stabilizer must be 30% higher than the power of the consumer at an active load (heaters, electric ovens, furnaces, stoves, etc.). This is due to the high starting current of the loads. When the load is switched on and in the case of short-time modes, the short-time load significantly exceeds the nominal parameters indicated in the load characteristics. This requires the use of a stabilizer with a certain reserve of power, especially in locations where the voltage at the input of the stabilizer is, in the majority of cases, close to the lower limit of the input voltage range.

when the voltage stabilizer is used to supply an inductive load, the selected stabilizer should have 3 to 5 times the output power of the load load! (luminescent and fluorescent lighting, electric motors, pumps, air conditioners, refrigerators and freezers, etc.).

when the voltage stabilizer is used to supply a capacitive load, the selected stabilizer must have a 5 to 10 times higher output power than the consumed load power! (pulse chargers, LED drivers, pulse power supplies, etc.).
