For some monophase AC motors, it is necessary that a working capacitor be mounted in their circuit for continuously current or phase offset adjustment of the motor windings to optimize its torque. Most motors use capacitors with capacities of 2.5 to 100 uF and voltages from 370 V to 440 V.
